The media learned about Bybit’s decision regarding sanctions against Russians

BYBIT cryptocurrency exchange will not introduce restrictions for users from Russia. Getblock Magazine said this by an informed source with reference to a message for the partners of the platform.

BYBIT representatives said they would not “discriminate against users at their location and passport”. Restrictions can affect only those cases when the jurisdiction of the client does not allow futures trade without licenses. This ban is valid, for example, in the USA, Singapore and China.

BYBIT founded in Singapore in March 2022 received a license to the UAE and soon transferred its headquarters to Dubai.

Earlier, Singapore, the monetary control of Singapore, reminded licensed cryptocurrency exchanges about the need to observe sanctions against the Russian Federation.

Recall that in early October, the EU approved the next package of sanctions containing a ban on servicing cryptocurrency accounts of citizens and residents of the Russian Federation, regardless of the amount of the deposit.
